Our Story

A story rooted in family.

The original Grandma's Coffee trailer.

Grandma's Coffee began in 2024 with a personal purpose. Founder Ariana Swygert created the business to honor her late grandmother, who passed away in 2019. That family connection gave Grandma's its name and the inspiration behind a business built around coffee, comfort, and a warm welcome.

The story first took shape in a mobile coffee trailer in Winston-Salem. Coffee, specialty lattes, matcha, and seasonal drinks became the way Ariana brought that inspiration into her work, giving people a place to stop for something familiar or discover a new favorite.

Now, Grandma's has a downtown home inside the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts. The café marks a new chapter for the business, carrying its family inspiration from the original trailer into a place where coffee and Winston-Salem's creative community meet.
